THE SPARK Prior to burning, cut your wick to ¼ inch so it burns evenly and not on the glass. For your first burn, keep your candle lit for a minimum of two hours and no longer than four hours. Each scent has its own playlist* which echoes the mood of the scent. The intention is that the entire top layer liquefies so that the surface burns evenly and doesn't create tunnelling. Keep in a well-ventilated area and away from drafts to avoid excess sooting and uneven burn pools. If sooting does occur, blow out your candle, let it cool and wipe away with a cloth. It’s best to let your candle cool down for a minimum of two hours before reigniting the flame. THE BLAZE Don’t leave your candle on its own or fall asleep while it’s lit. Never burn a candle on or near anything flammable and don’t touch or move it while lit. Your candle is not child or pet friendly so please keep them out of reach. We know it’s tempting but don’t burn your candle all the way down – leave approximately ½ inch in the container to prevent heat damage to the glass and any surface surrounding the candle. If you notice your flame is too high or repeatedly flickers, blow it out, let cool, trim the wick and move away from any drafts before re-lighting. Don’t use your candle if the container is damaged, cracked or broken. THE BLOW OUT The safest way to extinguish your candle is with a candle snuffer. However, if you don’t have one, gently blow on the flame from a safe distance until the fire goes out. Make sure it’s completely out before leaving the room and don’t touch or move your candle until it’s cooled. Candle burn times vary based on fragrance, burning habits and environmental conditions.
